Program Review @ NIC

Data Gathering – Getting Started

The program review team come together to identify what data needs to be collected. The team:

  • identifies what data is needed from Institutional Research and Planning
  • makes plans for gathering feedback from current students and alumni, faculty, employers / community members
  • makes plans for writing surveys and focus group questions
  • identifies a timeline for collecting and consolidating data and coming together to complete the analysis and reflection

As a starting point, take a look at this list of Possible Sources of Evidence.

Once the program review team has a plan of  ‘who’ is going to do ‘what’ and when, data gathering can begin.
