External review is phase four of program review. The external review is conducted by an external review team, who:

  • read and offer feedback on the Self-Study
  • meet with (in-person during a site visit, or virtually) students, alumni, faculty and other support members of the college community, to talk about their experiences / feedback on the department / program area under review, on what is working well and what aspects could be enhanced
  • offer recommendations on possible improvements / developments
  • write a report with recommendations and suggestions for future action. This External Review Report informs the Final Report and the Action Plan
