The program review team provides nominations to the dean for the external review team. The dean contacts the individuals nominated to find out whether they are available to participate in the process. Here is a Sample Email from Dean to the External Review Team.

Once team members have been confirmed, potential dates for a site visit (or virtual) are discussed. A site visit usually takes place over two days.

The Centre of Teaching and Learning Innovation plans the two-day site visit, once the above details have been agreed. This includes:

  • creating a NIC Sample Agenda External Review Visit
  • contacting members of the college community requesting their participation in the site visit
  • organizing times / location (or online meeting links) and advising participants
  • keeping track of external review site visit attendees
  • communicating with the external review team to ensure they have the information they need for the site visit
